Mr. Finch will be following in the footsteps of Mr. Any Toth who also was very fond and very experienced with traditional Balinese Gamelan Music.

We welcome Joshua and wish him all the lick taking care of American citizens who need assistance in Bali.

Born in Columbia, Missouri he was raised in Wyoming, Joshua Finch pursued a course of Balinese music and dance while an undergraduate at The Colorado College where he performed new music with the Colorado College Bowed Piano Ensemble, touring Europe in 1995 and 1996.

After graduating in 1997, he continued his Indonesian language studies as well as actively performing Balinese music and dance as a graduate student at the University of Wyoming majoring in music theory and composition.

He first visited Bali in 1997 and was later awarded a fellowship to study Indonesian language, music and dance at the Indonesia College of Arts (STSI) from 1999-2000.

In 2000 he taught English in Denpasar and married Warana Tripasasi who hails from East Java.
Joshua's hobbies include hiking, mountain climbing, music and travel.

Just a year ago following the October bombing everyone except myself expected real estate prices to plummet.
